    I don’t think so. How long has it been pipped like that? Mine needed a little help with moisture on the membrane, but it was about 24 hours after I noticed first pop and it was still not able to penetrate the membrane fully. Hatched successfully though and is a healthy little chick now!

    Currently 74%. It doesn’t look dry, just thick. Chuck is peeping and breathing, but I just can’t see a hole in the membrane 🤷🏼‍♀️

    Is this chick shrink wrapped? It’s still alive and has poked this hole in the shell, but there’s a gap between the shell and the thick membrane, can’t see any chick, but it’s peeping and making progress. Day 20 Swedish flowers from my own flock. None of the other eggs have pipped yet. Thank you!

    Yes! I bought them from Bresse Farms, a 2500 mile journey from my house in CA. I bought a dozen of each speckled Sussex and Swedish flower hens. At the 10 day candle, I have 7 speckled Sussex developing and 6 swedish flowers 😍🤞🏻
