Hi..I am in SW Colorado. Temps in winter can range from 0 - 30 degrees or so Dec- Feb. Below zero at night is not uncommon. Chicks are Marens, Cochin, and Austrothorp.

Hi....i have eleven birds about nine weeks old. They drink about 5 gallons of water about every day and a half or so. Is this normal? i am using one of those galvanized water tanks that is i think gravity fed..temps have been mid 80's here in SW Colorado if that contributes....thx
Hi folks..coop and run is amost done. Both are as predator proof as I can make them. So...is there any reason to keep the birds locked in the coop at night? can they come and go between the coop and the run as they please? Thanks...
