    Yes, you don't want it going down the glottis. It sounds like she'll probably be fine at this point since it's been 24 hours though and she's acting normal. That is a good sign. Administering liquids I always use a headlamp and watch to make sure it's not going into the glottis.

    The two with the stripes on their heads look like Rouens. The all brown duck looks most likely Khaki Campbell but I could be wrong on that. I see differences in her from a standard Khaki.

    That happens all too often and it's really sad. Most cases, people get them not knowing how much work they are and end up dumping them off either not knowing they're domestic and can't fend for themselves in the wild or just don't care.

    Sorry, I wasn't real clear on my response. No Suprelorin is the brand name of the Deslorin implant , I was trying to point out there are other options like pregesterone implants that do the same thing.
