    Buff Orpington does not lay

Goldie has never been attacked that I know of. I’ve combed the yard looking for anything and have spent lots of time with her. I’m pretty confident she has never laid an egg.

    Buff Orpington does not lay

Yes, I’ve had her since she was a chick. She’s always been healthy, just never laid an egg.

    Buff Orpington does not lay

My 16 month old buff orpington has never laid an egg! She lives with other hens around the same age that do lay. She eats the same food and snacks as the others, free ranges in the yard all day, is very active and healthy. I don’t know what the deal is? Poop looks normal too. Is she just not...

    Please Help! Wyandotte Chick Sexing

It’s still not really red. These are two cockerels I had around 6 weeks. Different breeds, but the already had a lot more comb development and they were turning really red.

Silver still looks like a girl to me. No comb growth and the beak is still yellow between the eyes.

***OKIES in the BYC III ***

I’ve seen traps in the neighbors yard. I’m also in Tulsa city limits, but in Osage county, not in Tulsa county.

***OKIES in the BYC III ***

They already eat the trash and anything left around the house. They haven’t seemed to bother the birds and I’ve seen no sign of them trying to get into the coop or run. These are fat city raccoons.

I can, but we aren’t gone for long. We do have raccoons, but they haven’t bothered them....yet. Do you think they can get through the hardware cloth?

    Possible coccidiosis poop?

I’m not sure. Just keep checking if you see more, if not, I’d say you’re in the clear. Mine didn’t show symptoms, but there were several bloody/fleshy poops, not just one.

    My dog likes chicken poop

My dog loves eating the chicken poop too. I just kick dirt over any fresh droppings I see when we are outside. Other than that, I tell him “no” when he goes for it. He still follows them around and will beat me to it sometimes. He hasn’t gotten sick, but I don’t know if it’s particularly safe.

    Possible coccidiosis poop?

Is that the only one that looks like that? Are there more? I had a bird die suddenly and then noticed I was finding poops like that, so I treated the others for a week, then it cleared up. A week later, the bloody/fleshy poops were back, so I am treating them again. None of my birds had signs of...
