And yes, those are dried mealworms on my living room floor. Courtesy of my four year old. Lol.

    All girls? Picture HEAVY

I bought these beauties from a farm supply store and they are all supposed to be pulleys (they boasted 90% accuracy). They are all between 4-5 weeks old except maybe the EEs and Faverolles are a bit younger. 2 Buff Orps 2 Barred Plymouth Rocks 1 White Leghorn 2 EEs 1 Faverolles (best guess...

Is she a Faverolle? And is she a she?

I bought the chicks 13 days ago, and they were around two weeks old. Here are a few more pics of Fancy. Definitely in the awkward stage. The feathers along her sides are a beautiful salmon color. (Once again just saying she and her because "it" seems strange, lol).

Where to get chicks in Benton county Oregon?

We got ours at Wilco. Dels in Philomath still has some chicks (free with purchase). My Wilco chicks are all happy and healthy (knock on wood).

The Big Fat Is This A Rooster? Thread

I am a total newbie, but a red comb that young probably means it is a rooster, tweb. Still early to tell, though.

Is she a Faverolle? And is she a she?

I think little one is about four weeks old at most, so we shall see eventually. I don't know any of the chicks' exact age. I didn't think to ask when I got them. Newbie chicken owner, obviously!

    Faverolles Thread

If she turns out to be a he, maybe you could take him? I don't know where you are in California. :) I'm only about five hours from the OR/CA border.

    Faverolles Thread

I will get one tonight. I have one of her sleeping on me, but it's not a good pic.

Is she a Faverolle? And is she a she?

I don't know if this helps at all for her color, the photo is still pretty yellow, but I didn't want to over color correct it. She is next to one of our buff orps and one of our bprs. No black at all, just a dark brown. She is super awkward looking right now and goofy and so mellow and sweet...

Is she a Faverolle? And is she a she?

I know that only time will tell for sure, but this chick also has blueish feathers close to the body... We'll see what comes in the next couple of weeks, I guess! I'm not going to lie, I hope she is a girl, because she's my favorite!
