I'm 57, born in Newberry SC and studied Pharmacy at Univ of SC. Then went to Univ of NM for Masters in Nuclear Pharmacy. Ended up working in Hospital, retail, long-term care and research and lived all over the US - Northern New Mexico and Albuquerque, Ayer Mass, Charleston SC, Jackson and Powell WY, Portland OR - before settling in Western NC mtns..... I now educate other health care professionals and laypeople on the safe and efficacious use of dietary supplements. I've written/co-authored over 10 books/ebooks, several databases and hundreds of articles and powerpoints on Integrative Medicine.

Just started raising chickens and they are GREAT. I'm amazed at their personalities. Not too versed in care especially when acute problems occur.
