    Goslings of 2015 Hatch-a-Long

    I have goose eggs in with my ducks. So humidity is pretty high. (Like 60%) Is this likely to cause problems? I set them together so the ducks should be hatching a couple days before the geese.

    So... What do I need to know about raising geese? I have 2 African Dewlap eggs going in the incubator this weekend. I have ducks currently. But these will be my first geese.

    Daily Duck Egg Report for 2015

    I used a store bought chicken egg the other day for DH... and it felt all wrong. It was wimpy and dull. Don't know how people do it. I had my "breakfast fried rice" for dinner last night... which is a spicy fried rice with bacon... and topped with a duck egg.

    Bte... WA chicken people are the best. After all my ducklings died in the shell, someone on the FB group loaned me a Brinsea Mini so my next hatch should be a lot better. Far less room for human error. That LG just was too hard to get the perfect temp and humidity

    I'm not sure I can stick the reptile thermometer/hygrometer in a glass of water... But I can try. I kept the temp at 102 and humidity is supposedly 60%. Which is too low but I can't seem to get it up. I was told to check for internal pipping but I don't know how...
