i meant to write that they are 2 weeks apart, 4 weeks old and 2 weeks old

he larger duck is my mallard, the smaller one is the one :)in question...

i got the duck from a friend. she said the male call was really trying! if its not a mix could it just be a call? or just a muscovy? is the coloring more traditional for one or the other? it is all black, a little yellow spot near eye... some yellow on chest... two weeks old and less than half...

so i have an almost all black duck with a little yellow on belly. i am almost positive he /she is a mix between a call duck and muscovy... is this possible? what do i call it? what is he/she going to look like?? i only have muscovy, call and mallard...

Is anyone worried about transmitting disease to the elderly in the nursing home from the chicks?

I have 6 baby chicks, maybe 3-5 weeks old. They travel back and forth with me to the nursing home I work at. They come in with me in the morning, spend their day in the multipurpose room and visit with the elderly population throughout the day. They also get picked up occasionally by staff...
