    Thank you! My button quail is doing a bit better. It’s acting normaly but has some diarrhea now and then. I’m guessing he was just cold and decided to puff out his feathers. I’ve been giving them fruit to try to get them to pass whatever is in their systems. Any more tips if you have any?

    so I noticed that one of my chicks had their feathers puffed up an was walking strangely. I don’t know what this is or what to do. If you might know please comment I’m very worried.

    I wasn’t crazy. I did hear the chick. I was too late. I opened the egg today and there it was. A fully formed baby button quail, ready to hatch. But I think I’ll order more eggs.

    Thanks for the advice. I checked but it’s not there. At this point I’m starting to think I’m crazy or there was just a bird outside. Either way if it doesn’t hatch in a few days I’m starting a new batch. But thank you anyway:)

    I heard a bit of peeping coming from the incubator but I still don’t see a pip. The chick has been silent for I while but I think I heard it this morning. I checked again and still no pip. I’m beginning to worry. When might it hatch and will it?
