    Simple and cheap roost design

    A couple of saw horses ($30 aus dollars) pvc pipe ($a few), duct tape and cable ties for stability. It’s got to be more comfortable than the lorikeet cage they currently try to roost on every single night, before we take them all down to the coop.

    Can you give some more info? what setup do you have?. what is in your flock? was he penned alone or with others? do you have snakes or other predators where you live? is there any sign of injury on his neck, legs, etc?

    Whats the weirdest thing your chickens have eaten or tried to eat??

    My girls think anything you eat outside is actually theirs. They once pecked a chicken nugget right out of my daughters hand. She was so horrified at the cannibalism that she couldn’t even speak for a minute :lau they also love choux pastry. Eclairs, custard puffs, you name it. Little pigs.
