Hello!!! I am chatting from Cedar Creek TX... We are gearing up for our first flock here... That might still be a few weeks or even months away since we are going to try to build the coop ourselves =)... We do plan to free range them and lock them up at night as we live in a very woodsy area...- eveykins

Thanks for the warm welcome!!! Very exciting time for me here =)... I really want to start with 6 chickens total... I know that number will increase lol... But I really want to get a few Amerucanas, Rhode Island Reds, maybe 1 Wyandotte (For broodiness) I haven't had a chicken actually hatch...- eveykins
