    Switching to layer feed

Thanks. I did get some oyster shell but wasn't sure if I should add it now or after they start laying.

    Switching to layer feed

My girls are now at about 20 weeks. I had been feeding them a finisher up to almost 19 weeks and then started mixing the layer feed into the finisher. I'm at the end of the finisher/layer mix and of course they haven't starter laying. Should I continue on to just the layer mix or go back out to...

    Thanks for being here!!

It's hard to believe that this is the same chick. On June 27th she started having what looked like seizures, tucking her head like she was trying to do a forward roll and backing into everything. White leghorn pullet chick

Yep...we've confirmed it's a cornish x. I spoke with the tractor supply to let them know about the mislabel on the bin. We're just gonna let Potatoe live out their best life with us and picked up another chick that we double checked was the correct one. Thanks everyone for your help.

    White leghorn pullet chick

My niece picked her out a bin that all looked alike. The employee even commented on what a cute little leghorn she was. The sign said white leghorn, but yeah, they could have gotten mixed up. This is our Potato today...at 11 oz. Lol.

    White leghorn pullet chick

I have a white leghorn pullet born approx. 5/29-5/31. I purchased her on 6/6 from Tractor Supply. She weighed 2 oz when we got her. A week later she was up to 4 oz., and today she weighed in at 11 oz. She isn't bullying the 3 other chicks for food. Their brooder is right off between the kitchen...
