    Thompson's Waterseal

    Thompson's is basically just Paraffin oil (Mineral Oil) in a solvent. Once the solvent "Flashes off" you are left with only the Paraffin Oil. It is for all intents and purposes...inert. My personal opinion, is that it is not a very good product. You would be better off rubbing the wood down...

    The price per sq ft on those things is ridiculous. They are tiny and very pricey for what you get. Personally, I think you would be better off to save half of that and modify one of these... They run about $700, compare to the largest Eglu at $1500. This has infinitely more room. It's plastic...
