    Another Breed question. Someone said she is a Kelso.

    Anyone know about this breed, a group on Facebook says she a Kelso. She is a bully to my 7 Barred Rocks, then attacked my new rooster when he got introduced but he put her in line. She is sitting on another new hens eggs and then pecked at them when I tried to grab them, and destroyed one...

    Back at it again

    I used to raise chickens when I was a little girl. Again when my kids were little, and even used them as our first grade science fair project in my classroom. I’m back at it again. And it seems there is so much new to learn. Thank goodness for the Internet and Backyard Chicken.
