Thank you all!
After examining it for a little longer, I put it back where I found it.
I’m not in any condition to care for an egg, I have no incubator, nor experience. If the egg had life, I would have taken it to a sanctuary when I could. But seeing as it's been there for who knows how long...
I didn't have a incubator or anything. I but it in a box with warmth and good air circulation like I would do for reptiles eggs I have. Not home right now, but since others said it doesn't seem to be developed, I'll toss it.
I just realized I accidentally posted two forums.. sorry!
Hello!
I found this little Robin egg next to a nest which was torn apart, along with more eggs that were all cracked. It looks like it has some little veins growing (pics arnt very good).. I have no idea what I'm doing, but wanted to see if there was anything I could do to save this little egg...
This little girl is doing so much better! Her little rear isn’t nearly as swollen, and has been jumping around all the other chicks are looking just as good!
One of the doors on the tank the chicks are in has been broken, you can still close it, just can't open it. I took it off and replaced it with a mesh frame instead to help airflow, the top was also replaced with a metal cage door, with bigger gaps, to help air flow. When the chicks get bigger...
they're around 3 weeks, we got them at tractor supply 2 weeks ago, so maybe younger... we got them the day they arrived there. I can get the heat down, thank you!
The thermometers are eye level with the chicks, about 5 inches off the ground. They are connected to my phone so it tells me when Temps are too high or too low. I'll give them some of the worms as treats. Thank you so much!
Four of the chicks that had the swollen vent are doing much better, none...
I plan to move them into something before they outgrow it, I replaced the top mesh part to provide better air flow, I have a thermometer on both sides of the enclosure, the side with the light says its 87 F right now, and on the opposite side it says it's 69 F. Is that too hot? They seem pretty...
They are in a enclosure like this one, but I switched some things around to make it suitable for the chicks (got a different top, added pine shavings, and got a recommended light) I can share a picture of the whole enclosure once I get home. I live in Oklahoma and the weather went from 60 F to...
The little chick that lost a lot of weight unfortunately passed away a few minutes ago :( I'm calling the vet to see if there is something I can get for the rest of them..
