i got the first one yesterday.
there all Saddleback Geese, around 10 yrs old.
were getting three in total (1 female, 2 males)
the one we have is a female, shes pretty calm so far.
they all have to stay in one cage.
she eats cracked corn mainly.
the only thing is she refuses to let the ducks...
So i'm taking a friends geese. i only have experience taking care of ducks.
Should i just do what do i do for the ducks? or is there something else i should do for them?
Winters here aren't the best, last year my male ducks curls froze off.
there's three of them, idk if there all coming.
also...
My Cayuga duck MJ sat on eggs for about 2-3 months. I finally got her off the eggs last week.
she can barely swim
+she got no babies
the others won't let her into the flock. there acting like they did when we first introduced her.
i mean the hens are fine with her but the drakes are trying to...
they hatched last April, so about a year and a half. Normally ill put my hand(s) out and depending on the duck they will climb on and stand there or lay down. sometimes i have to pick them up and they will climb up to my hands.
