    Guinea with broken leg??

    We have a group of 4 wk old keets. Noticed a few days ago that one is limping and holds his leg up. What is a slipped tendon? We have no bird vet for miles around. We are getting a small house with a small pen for him to get him away from the others. Any way to help him out? Thanks

    With 16 days to go I candled my guinea eggs. Out of 13, 5 look good but the majority look like these two. What do you say? Thanks, Faye

    Resetting days on Nature Right 365

    I set up my Nature Right 365 for my 2nd hatch and everything is fine except I cannot adjust the days. It is preset to 21 days but I since these are guineas I need to add a few more days. Following the directions is no help. Has anyone else had this problem and if so, how did you fix ? Thanks.

    When I am ready to put them in the incubator what do I do different than if they were chickens? I know the incubation time is different but do they also have a lock down period? I'm hoping to put them in on Tuesday so I want to be I do everything correctly . Thanks

    I have found one guinea nest with some eggs. I would like to try and hatch some but how do I store/keep them till I have enough to hatch? Thanks, Faye

    What are they?

    Can anyone tell what these are? They are from the same hatch but I'm not sure about their parents. The lady I got them from as chicks said they might be silkies or frizzles. The pictures aren't very good but it's the best I could get.
