I live on 8 acres in the country. I do owl educational programs in Western Washington state and have 8 resident owls. I used to be a wildlife rehabilitator and did that for many years. I also worked in a church as a youth leader for many years. I managed hotels for about 6 years. Lots of experiences I have enjoyed. I also have some experience in veterinary clinics and have worked with veterinarians to learn more about medical issues in regard to wildlife care and animals in general. I am married to David. I have two adult children. I have 10 parrots, 3 dogs, 5 cats, 4 turkeys, 9 ducks, 4 sugar gliders, a rabbit, 12 guinea pigs, and two Nigerian Dwarf goats. Most of my animals were rescues. My rabbit, a couple of the parrots, and the guinea pigs are getting pretty old. I have two parrots who are over 60 whose lifespans are less than that. One is blind. I love working with them and giving them a good home. I have 13 chickens.
