Do you have images of your rooster? I think I have an Orpington Maran Cross also. Just 4.5 weeks old, but over a pound and dominating the other chicks. Both comb and waddle turning red.

They are both a mix as the parents were free range. I was given fertile eggs and decided to incubate instead of eating them.
