Hi, I will be getting chickens for the first time sometime next week. I have already learned so much from this forum. I will be getting 6 dual purpose chickens. We want them for the eggs. But my husband wants them for stew after they quit laying. I don't know if I could eat it or not...
This is not true anymore. You can have up to 6 chickens now. But they must be registered and a permit build the chicken coop. Coop must be 25 feet away from any building and 5 feet away from property lines. https://www.ogdencity.gov/1239/Urban-Chickens
