That’s kinda what I thought. I think I see a faint ring on the first one, but wasn’t sure if that meant it was fertile or not.

Before you read this thread you may want to read this thread. Anyways, I decided to crack open one from the EE hen after my sister brought some eggs to her school. Here is a pic: Then here is a silkie egg pic that has a roo in with them. Which one is fertile? Or are they both fertile?

Were they born today?? Omg, I had a calf born today!

Oh I wish. I have some silkie fertile eggs as a back up that has a very active roo fertilizing them. I would just like to see some olive eggers hatching!

I wish I could but I have a limited amount. My sister needs them for a school project and she just told me on friday that see needed them by wednesday 🙄 I guess we will just have to see!

Actually he only did that on the first day. The hens seem to like him.

The roo is 8 months, the hens are both 7 months. He’s been doing his little rooster dance buy them.

I put my ameraucana cockerel, french maran hen and EE hen together on Saturday. So about 3 days ago. Been together for about 3 1/2 days. Do you think the eggs are fertile? I haven’t see anything but I don’t regularly watch them. I’ve gotten an egg on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday. Would any of them...
