    They had all the different breeds labeled and all in separate cages.

    I did and the guy at the register really didn't have any idea. He said the owner is the one who orders the chicks. He was pretty much useless. I guess I will hope these 3 are girls and see if they crow in a couple months :) thanks for your help!

    Any ideas on the new one? I noticed after I brought him home he also has a different tail than the others.

    So I went back and switched out my chick. I went for the one with the most brown on it but it still has a comb. What do you think?

    Yes that's what I have read.. These are our first chickens, so I'm still learning a lot about them. Here's a picture of all 3. Do the other 2 look like pullets?

    Crap! I wonder if feed store will exchange him for a female. Going to call when they open! I'm kind of bummed out too because he is the sweetest one too.

    We got 3 week old golden sexlinks from the feed store this weekend and I posted a picture of them on the baby chick thread. Someone said this one looked like a male. What do you guys think?

    The one with the most brown on it? Or the whitish one? I don't know a whole lot about chickens. What makes you say it's a male, we did not want any roosters. :)

    These 3 are our first chicks ever. Feed store said they are golden sexlinks.
