I always just put plastic around one side that is most exposed to the wind and the rest is open. I too have a solid roof so the run stays dry for them. I'll be putting my plastic up likely in early November.

Hi everyone! I cant velieve im still unabke to tell if i have any drakes! Does anyone see any sure signs of any? Im okay with keeping one but worry if we have too many, theyll fight. Either im really bad at sexing based on feathers, theyre all hens or this breed is elusive!
I know this is a huge long shot but does anyone know how I can tell my drakes from hens?? They won't let me get close enough to them to really stare...
