I’ll keep an ear out for that! Though not sure I’d realise even if I heard them lol they chirp very loudly to each other if one disappears for even a second :rolleyes:

I’m honestly just so happy it actually worked! This was my 3rd attempt at hatching supermarket quail eggs... my first attempt I had 1 egg that fully developed, managed to pip internally but sadly never hatched out. Pretty upsetting as I thought the little guy had pipped externally so I waited...

Yes they’re only meant to be for eating! As far as I know they are not meant to be fertile but I read an article online about a woman who’d managed to hatch a quail from the supermarket so decided to try it myself. Can’t really believe it worked!
