can anyone tell me why do they crow? Is it a king of the hill thing or are they crowing with each other. Like I said 3 roos , 2 crow more than they breathe is it normal. I live in a rural area or I would have already gotten rid of the 2 that crow all day .
Some may say I am as I answer in this case I choose to state those are Japanese beetles which without any human changing their life patterns they would be born , live & die somewhere in Japan. Common sense tells me leave them where they are at , what I would do should have little to nothing to...
u might go to TSC & buy their largest small animal trap . I would bait it with a hotdog then I would find a spot on his route to your chickens be careful you are dealing with a wild animal,
The other day I asked about chickens pooping in boxes & I was pleased with the replies and info I got. I am new to chickens but I went out and raised the roost & even lowered the boxes but it did not help. I got to thinking & looking My first purchase of chicks from TSC was 6 barred rocks well...
I have not read all the post you may have entered but I am curious where did you get your chicks, I ask because I got 12 in total from Tractor supply but I am not sure of the 90% you speak of.
before I got the first 6 barred rock chicks I would sleep till 10-11 AM , since then the latest I have slept is like 0800 Am So yes that maybe normal, just remember u may need the job if for nothing else those chicks be needing food.
I went outside one morning a little before 6 AM, & yes I was hearing one of the strangest sounds ever. It was not a cock a doodle more like something that was almost painful as I walked to the coop he was trying so I did what I thought was right I tried to teach him how, I mean shucks we did not...
some kind of meat, I have trapped at least 15 Ferrell cats out of more than 50 they went after 1/2 hotdog sliced more than tuna. if you have not purchased your trap yet don't buy the smallest one. depending on where u live it could be a fox. do u know how the perp access your cook.
