As the original post said I was already treating for coccidiosis with baycox/toltrazuril. I did add in corid as well 2 hours after I made the post. We did not see cocci in the feces I took in. We lost 5 baby chicks total. Everyone else is doing well. I'm not sure what happened at this point...
Small update. I don't see anymore blood in poop. 3 chicks are doing great. 1 chick is still very lethargic but eating and drinking some. I'm syringing toltrazuril sid and corid bid. And the lethargic chick is in iso. I don't believe that chick will live but I am trying very hard.
I can! I will bring some home for sure. I took the four other vorwerks with me to work. They all seem to be fine. I have the other techs helping me monitor them
Where does it come from? I don't understand how no other chicks have been sick. No adults are sick. But these hatchlings are. Once they're weak.. I can't do anything regardless of how hard I try.
I'm already using baycox/toltrazuril which is a coccidiostat. Should I use both? That's what the vet recommended because it's fast acting and kills coccidia
They become weak and the bloody poop just started yesterday to the best of my knowledge. I change their water 2 times a day and haven't noticed any weak chicks or bloody stool before yesterday
