    you should not keep ducks and chickens together ducks carry deases that chickens can not fight with their ammune system.You should keep all your poultry separate in different pens have read lots about this cause was going get turkeys but didnt want to build another coup

    in your experience when do these breeds begin laying?

    if you get peeps they would not lay till june most breeds dont start laying till they are 6 months old so i would get pullets if ya want eggs in the spring.Peeps can go outside after they are 8 to 10 weeks old or fully feathered

    skunks will kill and eat chickens and they will kill just for the sport of it neighbor lost four birds in one night thought it was a coon next night he found a skunk in the barn with chicken in mouth skunk does not exist any more

    that is a rooster can tell by the pointy feathers around its kneck a hens would be more rounded
