    hi all I have ended up with 13 roosters and 28 hens. I do not want to kill the birds. Has anyone had any success with buttering their roosters? Is there any reason I’d not go that route?

    Thank you my better judgement is to leave her. She has the new babies under her in a different spot while the 4 unhitched are uncovered. Do the last 4 stand a chance of hatching without her body heat or will they perish?

    OMGOSH you could be right about the mice. Also have 2 bunnies in the same coop so they may be the culprits. Now I guess I have to figure out how to rid the coop of any potential mice.
