    EXTREMELY bloated hen

I would think it’s fluid. I’m not sure what color the fluid is, but she pooped something yellow with a consistency of syrup. What antibiotic do you recommend? (Thank you so much for the reply by the way)

    EXTREMELY bloated hen

My 2 year old hen Rita has been bloated for a few months now. I thought she had worms, so I added apple cider vinegar and garlic into their food. It kept getting worse. I left for a trip last week, and lest the flock to my dad’s care. I came back yesterday. When I let them out this morning, I...

    Swollen beak/cheek on hen

She isn’t usually picked on but our flock had mites a while ago so I think she’s just due for a molt. The bump isn’t hard; it feels like normal skin. There isn’t any yellow or white matter in her throat or mouth. Thanks for your response!

    Sudden Lethargy and strange poops

Her abdomen wasn’t swollen. I didn’t notice any strange bits in the poop. It wasn’t really yellow but more off white. A few hours after I gave her a bath, I put her back in the flock and she had a drink of water and pooped again. This time it was yellow. I just checked her crop and it is about...

    Sudden Lethargy and strange poops

My 1 yo hen Sol, was being her snuggly mischievous self yesterday. This morning I was dusting the coop in diatomaceous earth and found her in the nesting box. She was standing so I thought she was laying or did lay an egg. She pooped a super smelly, runny, gooey, poop. She is super lethargic and...

Yes. Her last egg was 2 days before she started showing symptoms. She lays huge eggs. Her eggs won’t fit in a carton!

ACTING EGG BOUND BUT IM UNSURE

She is still alive this morning, but her crop won’t empty. She sat down for the first time last night and her abdomen is no longer swollen, but no egg. She is eating a little better and had some sugar water. She is pooping watery poo and normal poo. The normal looking poop smells bad too. No...
