Mille fleur bantam cochin spangled pekin project

Thank you so much for the feedback! I have fallen in love with this breed. I started with a rooster 2 years ago, he protected his ladies and lost the battle. Since then I’ve been researching and piecing together what is/is not. What I have discovered is there are many different perspectives...

    Mille Fleur Bantam Cochins

    Little Foot- Lavender Brahma Bantam?

Yes I did. This is the “first time”, they’ve had any “issues” with their chicks. No one else has reported anything wrong.

    Little Foot- Lavender Brahma Bantam?

    Little Foot- Lavender Brahma Bantam?

Sometimes she seems more lazy than the rest, but wakes up, starts peeping, eating, and drinking. She has always been more talkative than the rest. Is there something I should be looking for? I’ve never had a sick chick

    Little Foot- Lavender Brahma Bantam?

We have named this one Little Foot, it is 3-4 weeks old. Only reason I can validate the age is because I purchased it on May 22 as a Lavender Brahma. 3 weeks later and this little chick is growing really slow compared to the others. It leaves me to believe this is a bantam or it is a runt...

    New to the Group/Sexing Chickens

We purchased a home 2 years ago that had chickens (hens no rooster) and a coop. We knew nothing about chickens, thankfully the owner left books behind for us to at least have some sort of information, google became our best friend. We have 5 chicks 8-9 weeks old and do not know how to sex...
