My chickens laid their first eggs 🥰 now what? 🧐

Congrats on your first eggs! You are going to want to remove any eggs. Check once or twice a day to remove them, more if they start eating the eggs. A fair warning: chickens do eat eggs. Not all do, but try to avoid letting them have the opportunity. Try to avoid cleaning if possible. There's a...

HELP! My chickens have weird, yellow skin patches!

Well, I'm sorry that I gave wrong information, it just seemed like that to me with the information you gave. I'm glad you found what you were looking for and it helped your flock!

HELP! My chickens have weird, yellow skin patches!

It just looks like rooster treading and maybe some fighting. Nothing to be too concerned about, its just their feathers being pulled or plucked. If it gets to bad just get a hen apron, you can look online for buying or making some.

    Rooster or Hen crowing

There are a lot of ways to tell what gender a bird is. If you can, take pictures (lots, it will make it easier to tell) and post them under a what breed or gender thread.

    Thought it was a worm. . .

When I have to wash my chickens when it's cold I keep them in the garage and blow dry them.

    Meet Sir-sleep-alot

If you think that you can offer the care needed then go for it! Good luck to the both of you. It looks like he has splayed legs. Have you tried putting a rubber band around it? Do you think he could walk?

    Chickentrain's Dog Q&A

I take her out of her crate every two hours to pee, including at night. Nice. Alright! I already got advice kind of similar, where I should take her out immediately after peeing so she associates peeing with outside.

    Chickentrain's Dog Q&A

The crate is tall enough for when she grows up (she's a German Shepard). It's deep enough for her just to turn around, and is a little wide, but not too bad. She's only gone in there when she can't hold it at night. But we take her out every two hours. I got her from a good breeder. That's a...

    Chickentrain's Dog Q&A

Yeah... but she has used the bathroom in her crate. And I take her out for a half hour, take her in, and she pees on the floor five minutes later. :(

    Chickentrain's Dog Q&A

So... I posted on this a while ago. My puppy wasn't peeing on her potty mat, and I was advised to take he out. I've been taking her out a lot, sometimes to play, but sometimes on a leash to just potty. She wont do it outside, so I bring her in and she almost immediately goes right in the middle...
