That’s quite interesting definitely not what I expected but my other 2 from their have turned out to be mixed breeds too.
they had a very large mix of everything and anything. They were relatively new to chicken keeping and had a lot of rescues but I don’t believe they knew what they had...
As they’ve grown they definitely don’t seem full Pekin, I’ll have to wait to see how they look in a few weeks then hopefully it’s easier to tell. Thank you for the opinion.
All their chickens were kept together they seemed to have a bit of everything, not that I mind it’s just good to know what you have. Thank you for your help, looking forward to see them grow more.
I recently brought 3 chicks under the assumption 2 were pekins they’re now 4 weeks old and look completely different to each other size and feather wise.
Is it possible they’re different breeds to what I thought (not experienced myself and who I brought them off had only recently started...
