Welcome!!! This site is so amazing, I've had a flock for about 3 years now and since I've been on here I've learned SO much!! Which breeds are you thinking about???
Hey ! The same thing happened to my Wellsummer hen. She probably had a little fight with another hen or got it caught on something. I would just clean her up with a warm water rag so the other chickens don't pick on her and she should be fine <3:)
We are not positive, but if we found her at the right time it's more then likely day 21. It was under our brooding hen and I brought them in to my incubator earlier in the day.She was doing well with the eggs but this morning I guess she thought she didn't need to take care of them any more and...
Hey everyone! It's my second time incubating. My first time didn't go so well but this time we have one egg moving. For some reason the humdity bumped up to 79. The egg is still moving a lot and seems fine but I didn't know if I needed to do anything other then watch and wait.
Hey y'all. I'm new to BYC!! I'm very excited to be able to learn from people who love their feathered family members just as much as I do:)
I have many different breeds from Silkie's to Welsummers. I've had chickens for 2 years now and I've loved every minute of it <3
I'm so excited to be here!!!
