Thank you for the info. I may do khakis should I make another attempt. I had a Pekin male and was trying to hatch the eggs from him and our golden girls.

    Duck egg day 32...help!

Thank you for your kind words and good feedback. We had 2 fertilized eggs in our incubator, and we have lost them both. My husband autopsied the one baby Who gave such a good effort, but was not going to live either way. There were some serious birth defects. Which leads me to ask the question…...

Thanks so much for the good ideas and encouragement. We have done all of the above, and will continue to do so as we wait for her to mature. She's a good escapee. ;)

    Pallet Base Coop

My niece and I went to our local Restore and bought a pallet, old siding and other odds and end wood. We spent $15. We had the plastic sheet for the roof. The flowers and pots cost more than the materials! ;) But our ducks love it. Thinking we may need to add on as we may grow the heard soon.

    Thank you, everybody!

Hi! We have owned our ducks for 3 months now and I never could have done it without "BYC". ;) We had a terrible time with a fox who ran off with our Khaki, but our 2 golden 300's survived. They were injured and stunned. We bought them two therapy ducks, a pekin and a cayuga. Well, the pekin...
