    My black australorp rooster is coughing or hackling for the last couple days. What can I do?

    I have a 7 month old black australorp rooster, I have had him about a month. He started hackling a couple days ago, I can hear a little rattle when he breaths in. He doesn't crow as much as he did before. He is eating. What is this and what can I do for home?

    He has been hackling for a couple days and doesn't crow quite as much as he did in the mornings.

    I bought the 3 of them from a guy I know, that only went by these had there tail feathers, where the others didn't. He told me he belived the roos grow their tail feathers slower. I believe they are around 6 weeks old.
