    Sugar water gives them a boost the electrolytes are great however some chicks need an extra kicks it was a recommendation from the hatchery even though I told them I had the electrolytes they said the extra sugar gives them a boost won't hurt to try it helpped mine

    I have had chicks do that how old is it ? New did u just get it today? I gave mine sugar water from an eyedropper 3 or 4 drops an hour for 4 hours after I got it and the little thing quit.     I have 4 Bardrock hens, 5 Leghorn hens ,2 Jersy Giant Roosters 2 hens , 2 Golden Laced Wyonet Roosters 2 hens, Buckskin hens and Domoneque hens all 4 weeks Leghorns 5 weeks starting a new flock.
