I am assuming that since you haven't posted to this again, everything turned out fine. I have a batch that is doing EXACTLY what you described. Except 1) they did fine for a week then all started dropping like flies over the past day and 2) they aren't responding to the heat and it doesn't... -

They have had grass and waterfowl starter for food (no meds), access to water and they were in a covered ferret cage overnight it has two bottoms so the droppings would fall through (heat lamp on the one side). I set them outside when it was sunny and brought them in when it rained or got dark. -
