Will my frizzle barred Roo x with Rhode Island White create a sex link?

I have a dark barred frizzle roo (possible Plymouth Rock x Friz). If I cross him with a pure Rhode Island White will I get sex-linked chicks? Also will the roo chicks have a diamond and the girls not on hatch?

    Fused wing feathers???

Shall do.... Hoping someone here has seen this before to tell me how to fix it or what it could be! The other NN doesn't have this problem

    Fused wing feathers???

We have never seen this before.... This is a Bantam NN out of 12 postage eggs, 2 hatched. One of the hatchlings has fused wings/feathers that I have never seen before in 10years of hatching chicks. The wing feathers seem to be fused together by skin top and bottom - very strong skin! I've had...

The oddest thing I've seen so far... any ideas?

Hi all! I've seen my fair share of weird and freaky hatches and those that didn't make it to hatch, but I can only think of one explanation for this one... The chick puts it's foot through the yolk which then healed around the foot. It was not intestines as the yolk/internal organ (what ever)...

    mereks carrying silkie hatching eggs...

What makes you think your girl has mereks if she doesn't have symptoms? Has it gone through your flock? Personally I would be cautious and pop the eggs in an incubator if your chook has mereks or your flocks been exposed as they are born without immunity

    Shamo Crosses

2 hatched last night... Numerous pipping. Lafleche X Shamo (photos 1 & 3) has far more characteristics of Shamo than the silkie X Shamo(Picture 2) but obviously we won't properly know for a while!! Hoping for devil horns with long legs and muscley body (for LaFleche x)!

    Shamo chicks fighting in brooder

I think these are O Shamos?? (as in the Roo) - the HUGE ones! He stands about 80cm. He's funny he just steps over the hens (which are dwarfed by him) and squats!

    Shamo chicks fighting in brooder

Thank you! Mine will certainly be outside in separate pens before any major hormonal issues and usually around 10 weeks (even in Winter) as we are far milder than in America. A silkie x Shamo and a LaFleche x Shamo hatched in the wee hours of the morning and several others of different Shamo...

    Shamo chicks fighting in brooder

Hi there, I am trying to find out as much information as I can to be prepared if needed. I understand that, even as chicks, shamos can be extremely aggressive even from day one, particularly the young cockerals. Others have said this may happen around 3 weeks, that they start to fight. How...

    Shamo Crosses

Hi everyone, I'm new here btw!!! Does anyone have any photos of Shamo crosses (preferably not crossed with another game bird - but another type of soft feather breed) Myself and a friend are about to hatch out several cross bred Shamos (in fact a silkie x Shamo and a LaFleche x Shamo have...
