I am out of town and my dad is watching the flock. He says that a falcon has been hanging around the yard. I’m really nervous 😬. My dad let our dog out to chase the falcon and that will probably deter it!

They both have very good egg production and are very friendly breeds. Though laying an egg, is very stressful. And is equivalent to going into labor for 24 hours for each egg. Chickens should not be forced to lay eggs against their will. It in my head is torture.:(

I am very bothered by this because people who have not raised chickens watch this. And then they follow by example which is no good.
