    Is this favus?

    I did have an issue with mites on another hen that went broody under a cage. I've been dusting everything and every chicken with D E. I'll double check when I get home.

    Hi

    Hi, I live in Central California and have around 50 chickens, many of them chicks. I have everything from various egg layers to my project birds, Modern Game Bantams and Showgirls. I've had chickens for over 20 years and my 2 oldest girls are around 13 yrs old.

    Is this favus?

    I've got a black silkie who developed a white face while sitting on eggs. I didn't notice it until the eggs started hatching and I was checking for babies. I swabbed her face with an apple cider vinegar solution and have added acv to everybody's water daily. Her face looks better, but still...
