Egg Color Number Charts
The top is store-bought, middle is OE, bottom is RIR. Only the white color is correct, which is why I developed the aforementioned technique in the first place. 😝- FrozenNorthland

Google wasn’t much help. I do have an idea of what color each breed lays, but I was wanting to track the shade. I just developed a universal egg shade system. lol The Benjamin Moore paint app has color matching where you take a photo, then select either the whole photo, or just one area. I am raising pullets for the first time after only keeping spent hens. Now I have Rhode Island Reds and BCMxAmericana. I just got my first egg 3 days ago. It was very light for what I was expecting from a RIR. Each day, the eggs get a little darker. Would someone be able to post the color number...- FrozenNorthland

Moldy feed?
You could try giving it as a treat/scratch. I had some grain like that. I kept it separate from my other feed so my feeders weren’t contaminated, but the chickens go absolutely CRAZY over it.- FrozenNorthland
