I grew up eating and hunting squirrel...yum! My family loves squirrel dumplings! I sear the critters in a little oil and then add water and simmer until tender...debone ...then cook as you would if making chicken and dumplings. Also nothing beats smothered sq. and gravy!

I use the deep litter method and just love it. The girls keep it turned and I put a little DE in every now and then. I have a poop pan(one of those big silver cookie sheet things you put under a car to protest the floor from oil leaks)under the roost so my litter stays pretty clean. I change it...
Mix yolk with a little miricle whip, sweet pickle relish, squirt of yellow mustad, salt, pepper...put filling in a zipper bag, cut corner and pipe into the whites...sprinkle with paprika or red pepper for a kick...yum...always a hit...even for the kids

I slice a whole onion into rounds. Put one whole round in the bottom of the qt. jar, pack raw cubes, process acording to directions for raw pack. very tastey

My Gram made her dumplings but they were always a little to "doughy" for my liking but my MIL uses thick store bought tortillas...thats what I use and get rave reviews!!
We drink so much that I use the lipton cold brew...pretty quick and you dont have to wait for it to cool or melt all your ice if you need it asap...a life saver when you have five people waiting for a second glass during dinner..
