Help with feather sexing
I tried feather sexing my 13 chicks, 12 of them had the staggered feather lengths and 1 had equal sized feathers. 10 of them turned out to be cockerels and only 3 pullets:barnie- FuzzyDinoNuggets

One of these is not like the others...
Those are all golden comets. They are created by crossing a New Hampshire Red rooster with a White Rock or Rhode Island White hen, which means that not all pullets will have the exact same coloring. That particular chick just got more ink from her mother:D- FuzzyDinoNuggets

SGE #1 is a pullet, right BCM is a pullet, left BCM is a cockerel Could you get a picture of the second SGE’s face, I can’t see its comb. And I’m not sure about the silkies- FuzzyDinoNuggets
