    chicken that never layed eggs died...why?

    We had 6 hens 11 months old .They all started laying within 1 month of each other. 2 Bantam cochins, 3 Americaunas and One lonely girl, New Hampshire Red, the only one of her breed, Never layed an egg. She was shunned by the others. They would peck at her when we tried to give all of them...
