Last year I incubated a few eggs. Got a few colors… enough of each to make more but
I only got 1 silver laced hen.
I am just curious… is there any color I can pair her with to get more silver laced Orpingtons?
The vet said infectious Coryza... Did not do tests...
Most of them are healed...
I jus have a few not in the same flock that did not get sick and some new chicks in the incubator...
So I want to vaccinate them before I sit with this disease again...
I will vaccinate them all them. 😃
Thank you...
I had an entire flock that had infectious coryza...
I have new chickens I want to introduce to my flock, so I got a coryza vaccine...
The vail has 1000 doses. Should I vaccinate all of them even the ones that where sick or only the new ones?
I got coryza vaccine for my other chickens that where not in contact with these... When I vaccinate, should I vaccinate every one? Even the ones that where sick?
Thank you for all the replies...
Turned out to be infectious coryza...
Most of my chickens healed... This one in pictures also survived.. I removed the puss/ fat substance from the eye like on videos above (thank you so much!) but unfortunately She seems to be blind in the one eye. Not yet...
What is wrong with my chicken!?
My entire flock was affected... Lost 2 out of 10 and rest recovered. But this one. She remains sick...
I am giving antibiotics, vitamins and tube feeding, I de-wormed... Treated mites. I am starting to loose hope
Coughing , gurgeling, wheezing and swollen eyes...
Where can I get breeding and genetic info, calculator or formulas etc?
some info to see what colors you get matched whit best colors Orpingtons.
I always see people give formulas and gene calculations, but where do they get that information?
I have a white Orpington hen, but no white rooster.
rooster colors I have in my possession are:
Black
Blue
Chocolate
Splash
Gold lace and
Mottled
Which of the top roos should I put her with?
is there any chance I can get some more white offspring?
