Legs and feet - pics attached

I have soaked her feet for 10 minutes in a Epsom salt bath. I will continue to do so twice a day. Is there a suggested ration for the salts to water ? For an ointment - can I just use Polysporin? Thank you!

    Leg problems

When I took her to the vet - they examined her legs, they made her stand up and said that everything appears fine. I explained she has a limp when she walks and she sits a lot. The Niacin I provided her were normal Niacin pills. I had made that mistake when I first started giving her niacin and...

    Leg problems

Hello, I have posted a few months ago in regards to my duck having a sore leg. I separated her for 2 months and gave her Niacin daily. After a few weeks of separation I found there was no improvement and she wasn't moving normal. I took her to the vet. After the examination the vet said that...

    Ducking going bald

Hi, These call ducks are about 2-3 weeks old. Do you think I should be worried? I'm assuming it may be that they are loosing their fluff. I don't seen any picking or biting. He is in a brooder with 4 other ducks (one of them is losing hair on his neck).

Thanks! I uploaded a new pic showing a close up of the hair. We will be installing new heavy duty hardware before we get more and also completing a concrete pad so nothing can dig underneath. Any ideas on the hair? Do you think these is a chance he will come back tonight?

Do raccoon's typically take the bodies? I wasn't sure if they would be able to carry it out and up the cage. All 3 ducks are gone - so he would have had to come back for the other 2 too.

Hello. Yesterday I had posted my ducks were missing and their coop door was open a bit. My husband came home and found them sleeping in our yard! After the advice of others on here, we secured the coop doors so the predator could not open the locks again. I came out this morning to find the...

    Where are my ducks?

Hi Everyone! Today I went to let my ducks out of our their coop (I have 3 call drakes). They were gone. We have a door on the side of their outside cage that we open to let them out and it was still on. We have another door on the actual coop that has 2 hook and eye locks and its a solid heavy...

What do you think killed him?

Thanks for the responses. Maybe it was a fox...... I know a lot of things like ducks - its just odd that the head was completely separated from him and it ate EVERYTHING but the head. I was wondering if there was a particular predator that would do that?

What do you think killed him?

Hello, I have 5 male call ducks (now only 4). During the day, they wandered over to the creek that is in the field behind us. I went to herd them up and bring them back home when I found 4 cuttled together on the road. I got them back to their coop but couldn't find the 5th one. My husband went...
