I do rehab. I just took in a male Mallard that was limping badly. On inspection I see he is missing the big pad at the base of his foot. No sore or swelling just no pad. It seems painful. I cleaned it with bedadine, gave antibiotics, and pain meds and electrolytes. He seems in good weight but he ate like crazy. The only food I have for him is cracked corn. We are on isolation here. What things could I substitute for now?. Dry kitten or puppy food?
