    Sad update, she unfortunately passed away a couple nights ago. She was on four medicines, starting to drink on her own, but never did start eating. I was tube feeding her. Her last day was spent laying down, i knew something wasn't right. She was gone by 9pm. 😢

    I tried to wash and dry her feathers, even with a little Dawn, and they still are gunky. They expose her neck which looks so strange. When she perks up and stretches her neck out it doesn't stick out so much. 😬

    Thank you for asking ! I got home at two this morning. My son said she got better after a few days of meds, but they did not give her meds yesterday because they were expecting me home 6 hours sooner. Had delays at the airport. So she didn't get her pills yesterday, and as a result wasn't doing...

    Okay so my mom took her to the vet today again, while I'm across the country on vacay. The vet still doesn't know exactly what it is, so she sent her home with four meds. Antibiotics again (clindimyicin this time), pain/antiinflammatory, antifungal, and parasite med in case of capillaria. She...

    Thank you! I'll have my son watch those. This chicken is especially feisty when it comes to pills, he's struggling. I won't be home until Friday. She's off to the vet soon, so fingers crossed she'll be on the road to recovery.

    Thank you!! So I got the Seachem Metroplex which is 70% metronidazole powder, in the mail today. Dosing is tough, articles haven't been that helpful. He dissolved 2 little spoons in her water. Also added ACV. ACS is on its way, it will take a few days. My mom is taking her to vet again...

    This is exactly what my Brahma has, and we've been to the vet. Vet doesn't know what it is, she already finished a round of antibiotics. OP, this was so long ago, but did you figure it out and save her??
