    Big Bald Spot! Any ideas?

    Hi Miss Prissy, she is 1 year old, I think she is going into her pen in the day but hard to say as mostly at work! Our other hen isn't missing any and not seen any poop stuck to her apart fro a little on the feathes that are left in the bald spot, i'm wondering if she is going broody again?

    Morning guys, my hen still has a huge bald spot underneath her vent, almost looks like the feathers left (ONLY A COUPLE) are wet, any ideas?

    Hi, yes i is a round patch, the skin looks fine just very red, it is below the vent. Maybe she is getting broody again but unsure if she is as the weather here is very cold- it has been snowing etc and freezing over alot?

    Hi Guys, I am new to this so please bare with me... we have had our chickens for almost a year now and our speckled black hen has a huge bald spot just underneath her bum. The skin showing is very red, is this normal or is there something we can do for her? She seems happy enough. Thanks,
