This is the first time I've hatched Bielefelders. The eggs are from Omega Hills Farm. I noticed that some of them are darker color but have a white spot on their heads. I assume that I have 4 males and 3 females - or in other words, all the ones with a white dot on their head are...

What temperature should an egg-o-meter read in a forced air incubator? Just got one and first time using it. I know you want to aim for about 99 degrees in a forced air incubator. Is that the temp the egg-o-meter should read?
Anybody on this thread raise peafowl? My peahen just appeared with a surprise. Too bad only one of her eggs made it through incubation, but with the heat waves I've had here, I'm lucky for that one.

Mine were great mothers, too. Hopefully, my new batch (once I get the replacements from the hatchery) will have as good of mommies as the batch I used to own.
So, I got an order of chocolate runner ducklings from Metzer farms earlier this year. I have been waiting on pins and needles for them to arrive. My order of Roman Goslings from them came in March and are growing great. One died soon after arrival, but they added a replacement to my May duckling...
